for qsa standard and crystal series
The ones you received are QSA mid-range fuses, available in 4 different styles to suit different ear
needs.
Standard series (Pure red label)
The sound characteristics are similar to those of a top-grade Dutch gold-silver alloy cable:
warm, delicate, and rich in detail.
Vocals and instruments are clearly
defined, and the soundstage is well-defined.
Crystal series (Orange and red label)
The sound is highly
transparent, similar to that of a famous Dutch pure silver cable.
It is bright and elegant, with a prominent rear soundstage and rich detail,
but less bass, making it suitable for ethereal scenes.
Jerryfish series (Pink and red label)
The sound is delicate.
balanced, and serene, with a
warmer midrange.
Horn series (Dark green and red label)
Emphasizes low-frequency resolution, transient response, and enhanced dynamics, with full
vocal power. No matter what sonic
enhancement you're looking for,
QSA offers the right model and level.
After replacing 4 different styles
QSA fuses, I played Mutter's
"Gipsy Airs/Songs of a Wanderer"
on my stereo system
.
F o r c o m p a r i s o n p u r p o s e s ,
the difference is immediately
apparent:Standard Series: Pure
Red Label Once the fuses were
installed, it was like switching
from standard speaker cable to a
Dutch Triple Crown speaker cable.
The details of the piano sounded
much clearer. The subtle friction
of Mutter's vibrato and the tension
of his fast bows seemed to be
polished, and even the layers of
the orchestral accompaniment
were opened up—the violin took
center stage. At the same time,
the instruments behind it were
firmly anchored, creating a warmth
with a vibrant energy.
The Crystal Series offers the
clearest and most transparent
listening experience, with a
background as tranquil as the
deep ocean. This is the sound
of a premium Dutch brand of
sterling silver wire. The mid- and
high-frequency range is bright
and elegant, with a focused yet
unobtrusive sound, allowing even
the subtle rustle of the bow hair
brushing against the strings to be
heard. While the bass is slightly
lacking in forte and orchestral
passages, the bass reaches
exceptionally deep, with excellent
transient response, making
it particularly well-suited for
ethereally charged scenes.
The Jellyfish Series offers a
gentle warmth to the violins. The
loneliness of the opening rubato
is subdued, and the edges of the
sound are smooth, shrouding the
entire piece like a serene mist.
It's comfortable and effortless to
listen to, achieving a good balance
between analytical power and
sonic balance.
The Horn Series offers the
most power. During explosive
p a s s a g e s , t h e o r c h e s t r a ' s
bass feels grounded, and the
percussion is potent. Mutter's
piano sound also exudes a rich,
woody quality. His fortissimo
performances are dynamic and
powerful, a wanderer's frenzy
bursting forth instantly. Each note
is solid, dense, and unwavering,
without dragging.

c h a r a c t e r i s t i c s o f t h e 4
different QSA fuse styles, each
demonstrates its distinct character.
Each fuse easily outperforms the
stock fuse. In comparison, the
stock car fuse sounds dull, with
a rough, textureless tone and
a very ordinary sound layering,
completely lacking the liveliness
and depth brought by these QSA
fuses.
